Dan started Summit Plumbing in 2011 with one used van and a phone number that went straight to the person doing the work. That part has not changed. The rest has grown. There are now two trucks, a second licensed plumber, and a small shop in Boise that keeps common parts on the shelf so a water heater swap does not wait on a supply run. The work has changed too. Back then most calls were slow drains and dripping faucets in the older parts of town. Today much of the week is spent in subdivisions that were farmland when the company started. The plumbing there is newer, but the water heaters and softeners installed when those houses went up are reaching the end of their life. Hard water is the one constant. It scales up tank heaters, wears out fixtures, and shortens the life of nearly everything it touches, so we spend a lot of time explaining softeners to people who moved here from places with softer water. We are still small on purpose. Dan is on a job most days, checks every invoice, and picks up when the office line rings.

Workmanship warranty
Every repair and installation is warranted in writing for two years on labor. If a joint we soldered, a fitting we crimped, or a heater we set fails because of how we installed it, we come back and fix it at no charge.
On-time arrival
You get a two-hour arrival window when you book. If the job before yours runs long, you hear from us before the window closes, not after. If we miss the window without calling, the service call fee is waived on that visit.
The price you approved
We diagnose first, then hand you a written price for the whole job before any work starts. That is the number on your invoice. If we open a wall and find something we could not see, we stop and get your approval before continuing.
Satisfaction
If something about the finished job bothers you, call (208) 555-0142 within thirty days and tell us. We come back, look at it with you, and correct it. We would rather fix a small thing now than have you call someone else next time.
